4. i have a plethora of airbrushed hats and shirts at the

crafty wonderland pop up shop on sw 10th and yamhill

finally,

5. the ultra radical and huge crafty wonderland holiday extravaganza! this weekend the 11th and 12th at the convention center, just look for the crowd near the max.

all of these things, except the extravaganza, will be hanging until the end of the month, when they will be gone forever, so act fast.

i have a recurring thought whenever i am transiting around this town, be it by bike or by foot, although i never have it when riding or driving in a car. i am constantly assessing my surroundings for places i would sleep if i ended up houseless. this then leads me to think of what i would consider valuable or of necessity if the circumstances would arise. i am not sure of the implications of such thoughts, or why they recur so frequently. preparation, romantic fantasy, boredom? however, i have found many little nooks and crannies of the city that seem suitable for shelter, many are used, many are not, for what reason i may never know. it is hard to hear other voices if you are constantly speaking..........

so i calls up some homies of mine and let them in on my 10-4, and we decide to hit the road together. we stopped off in selma, california to take in some freshness, we had a gander at some local art.
after feasting for a couple of days on some sleep and sunshine we were on our way south where we stopped off to pick up my friend sexy steve. when we showed up he was reading and was little irritated at our unexpected arrival but he also decided to come along for the ride.
there aint nothing inbetween la and nogales except a buncha sand and the occasional cow, so i ain't gonna bore yous with the details of those four days, but needless to say my buddy charlie kept me occupied.
after three days of dusty driving south of the border we stopped at punta perula and cracked open a bottle whoop ass and washed it down with a little pig sweat, oops why am i coughing? why are all of these people wearing masks? why is everybody's story different? is this gonna help the economy? hasta luego cabrones...........

so after a few wonderously warm and sunny days in the forest i needed to get back to the concrete and wax that is the city, so we headed south and found this awesome place just off the road, when we saw this sign, it sealed the deal, this was where we were going to call home,
after rolling out the carpet for our arrival, we got a few things in order and decided on some dinner, hmmmmmm, how about mexican! yum.
looks like charlie doesn't like bean burritos..........

hello my name is sophie, and i have taken over this blog for awhile because this "essemm" fellow has gotten too lazy to do much of anything anymore, so i am going to regale you with the tales of my travels. so we (this family i am traveling with) left portland OR on a cloudy friday and landed on the first night in this wonderful place called castle crags.
